Those 1-star reviews are brutal. Cheap plastic, spontaneously falls apart at inopportune times and spices fall all over the kitchen. Too bad, would love something like this if it were built well.

Never measure spices. Just pour until the ancestors tell you it's enough.
Penzey's has great quality spices for the more exquisite stuff, Kirkland or BJs for the basics.

These look so good (spice carousels) but a bank of straight-containers two-high ends up being better for kitchens & cupboards and it's a lot less to clean up with dust.

Not to mention that the spices that come in these type kits are terrible. It's much better to buy a pull out rack, some containers, and quality spices.

Ya nailed it. The whole point of spices is to enhance flavor. These ALWAYS have low grade, Dollar Store spices that are old and flat, so I wouldn't expect much in the area of "flavor country" from this ill fated contraption.

This seems like it would take up a lot of valuable counter space.

Ironically the person who buys such a thing only seasons with salt, pepper, ranch, and hot sauce...oh, and Miracle Whip if they are feeling adventurous Wink

Not bad. Better than hunting garage sales for these, I've seen a ton of spice sets at garage sales, but this deal is probably a bit more visually appealing

If you have a 3-d printer, there are a lot of spice organizers including pull-out units that are available.
