This one is rated faster than the other model on Amazon now for the same price. Probably waiting myself as prices are supposed to continue dropping.

yes, its +20 faster on the write then the ax on amazon.

I've had the 1tb version of this drive as an external ssd to store ps4 games on the ps5 since launch.

I paid $75 for the 1tb around nov 2020.

Its been extremely solid, with zero issues. Used almost daily.

tempted but reviews are poor. They state that it works well until the cache is full about 365GB, After that, the sustained transfer rate is slower than any drive they have ever tested, including regular spinning drives! Tempted to get 2 and run them in a USB 3.1r2 RAID 1 enclosure to get 1 GB/sec and a cache of .7TB. I doubt I will transfer more than .7 TB at one time unless restoring the drive. Then it will be painful.
