Batteries included. Good deal if you get 4. Some reviews say they only received 2.

I got this because it's a solid deal, but the 100 hour runtime in the title is a little misleading. In the description it says lantern mode gives you 16 hours, so the 100 is likely one of the red light 'night vision' modes.

Too bad it's not rechargeable. I'm actively trying to avoid disposable stuff, especially batteries. Yeah, I could just use rechargeable batteries, I know, but I'd rather something with a USB port that I can charge with my power brick when out.

Got these last time that were rechargeable for about the same price. Good so far but wishIt had a steady red light instead of just a blinking emergency red light

So... throw the whole lantern out when the non-removable internal battery dies?

It says it's rechargeable and that it takes batteries. Which is it?

Thanks!

I just got the two pack of rechargeable for $15. Seemed reasonable.

It's more 'as long as the battery hold out'. The lantern get dim as the battery dies.

You are not active enough else you'd find they have rechargeable version.

Always more to desire and many will up the cost. IMO this lantern is made cheap while still decent.

I'm looking for a way to put in a diffuser. The lantern is very glaring.

We lose power several times a year where I live (rural upstate NY) and candles are both messy and dangerous. These are a great replacement to light up the house as an alternative to candles, count me in!

Edit: Nevermind, missed it. Price showing $26 with no clippable coupon
