Unfortunately yes, I have to take one every night before bed or I have serious GERD, no matter what I've eaten that day. AND - I pay $20 for a 3 month supply with my insurance. So 90 pills for 20 with insurance vs 400 for 13 without. I'm not the brightest crayon, but thanks Wellmark? (total sarcasm)

This is true - i was given a prescription for famotidine from my doctor. If i fill the prescription with my insurance, it's $10 a month co-pay. Buying this OTC is $10 for more than 6 months.

I ask myself the same question when people are posting deals on 400 count of allergy meds - like, are you buying this for a hospital or.....?
