Can someone confirm/deny my understanding of the dyson nomenclature:

Fluffy = soft roller head for hard floors
Animal = direct drive head for carpet
Absolute = comes with both fluffy + animal heads

This deal = Absolute PLUS add-ons?

That's correct and the addons are a bag for attachments an extension hose and a small brush. My guess is that this is a first generation carpet head that does not have the detanging feature.

Walmart has been offering increasingly good deals on dyson vacuum every other day. And holy shit I bought all three. I could test them all out before returning two but I think V8 should be the clear winner.

I jumped on the "v10 allergy" deal for $350 in June. That one comes with the animal head. Haven't unboxed it yet.

So the question is..

V8 with both heads for $300
Or
V10 with animal head for $350

That deal is dead, but only one head. Not fluffy for hardwood. It was also refurbished, this is new.

Thinking of this to replace my LG Cord zero, I really mostly just want the attachments.

I know walmart tends to offer exclusive, inferior SKUs of electronics but is this v8 identical to the v8 from elsewhere?

If you don't need the head, you may stick with saving the 100. It's refurb but Dyson refurb is great and they maintain warranty.
