Like with any cables, you have so-so quality off-brands and well-respected name brands. Fender is up there, highly respected in quality. These may not be "the best" cables money can buy, but at this price point, it's an excellent deal.

Check other music equipment dealers -- and you'll find these go for twice as much typically.

If you're concerned about failures, buy a spare.
