Rendered chicken fat in ingredients for those who might think it's vegetarian.
LOL I saw 'Free' and was like : Gimme! What's free! ....oh...the gluten is free. Frown Can I have the gluten?
I use the black bean burger for hiking. I mix it with powdered mac and cheese flavoring, instant rice and taco seasoning. Divi servings into quart freezer bags, then you just have to boil water and dump it into the freezer bag. Throw it to the side for 20 minutes, and you have a nice burrito dinner.

I've made patties with them and they're fine. As good as any black bean burgers.

In for 1 powdered butter. Prices of butter are insane these days. Use with my KetoChow. Takes a little more work to blend, but worth the price!

Hoping the black bean mix is a quick protein boost on camping trips. Also hoping it doesn't leave me in the outhouse all night.

Anyone tried the black bean burger mix and can comment on it? I grabbed a can and may just use it to stretch some hamburger.

Hoping it doesn't have TVP.

Note that the potato is a 13 ounce portion and not the 56 ounce for $17.50!

We use it for backpacking. It has a ton of salt, but the taste is good. If I remember correctly, the first ingredient is rice then beans. I don't remember any tvp. I have bought several cans for the family over the past three years and used them in bean burritos more than anything. The last time they went on sale we got four cans.

It is good. I use it to make black bean dip mostly though. It takes a bit of practice to get the right texture for hamburger substitute, and I've heard people complain it doesn't taste like hamburger. Well of course not, it's black beans and it tastes just like that.

And it makes a great base for a black bean dip.
