The 2060 KO performs exactly the same in gaming.
Since it's based on a 2080 die that was a rejected, they've disabled much of the excess componentry but failed to do so on all parts, it can offer up to 47% more productivity performance in certain workstation tasks like blender, which for $10 more than the normal 2060, is well worth the value. Getting a capable gaming card but a hidden monster in certain tasks is always a nice surprise.

this card has 2 thick thermal pad stacked from the memory side to reach the cooler. just an FYI because i have one. gamersnexus on youtube shows it.
And according to some other comments on this, it uses the 2080 PCB board with a previous generation type heatsink-cooler that is not quite appropriate for it, so even though it has two fans, this card will get hot.

I had this card for under a year and never noticed any overheating issues. User in an NR200 case, 4x 120mm case fans along with an R5 3600. It's not as power hungry as the 2080, so I don't think the pcb is an issue. I was very satisfied with my personal example of the 2060 KO. I sold my 2060 ko in 2020 for almost what I got a 3080 for msrp(bestbuy reference model). I don't think I'd pay $210 for it in 2022. I got mine for $285 back in the day. Black Friday is coming up, if you can hold out, maybe wait for a current gen deal.

Do you have a better suggestion that doesn't depend on the hope of a BF deal?
this is expired now, but is there anything in this class not quite so thick? 3 slots seems like a lot, though admittedly I'm not using any of the others right now.

This is live again. I felt like I missed out when I didn't pull the trigger last time. So I'm glad it came back. Great card for our first family gaming desktop for the kids. I used a random associate code I found online to get an extra $6.30 off: VKHJ8KATGBMVC6L
