I'd be hesitant to buy this since Premier protein has added additional protein powders to their huge recall just 4 days ago. Another couple days from now and this flavor might be on that list too.

Where are you seeing powders? I'm only seeing ready-to-drink shakes on the recall list. I guess NoScript could be blocking something important again, but even the manu site doesn't have powders on the recall list.

Hi! I m used to their pre-made packaged liquid shake. Like this flavor.

Do these taste close to or identical to ready made vanilla premier protein shake? Any tips or tricks to make it taste good. Thanks

It's pretty close to the normal pre-packaged shake, just not as creamy due to how ever they mix it. I still buy them; the flavor and macros are great especially for the price when it's on sale. The cappuccino flavor is my favorite powder they make. I add a scoop or two to coffee every day before my workout.

I use both the pre packaged and powder. And no, I really don't think the powder is as good as the pre made stuff. However it's much cheaper and I use it all the time to make smoothies (which the powder excels at). I use the pre made just if I want a drink or take it on the road. Ice, banana some kind of juice and this powder make an excellent shake for a lot less money.

Good point. I could have sworn I saw a list that showed specific powders from this brand that was recalled but I could be mistaken. The USA today link was a quick link I grabbed for reference since I couldn't find the article I read earlier. The premiere protein powders may not be affected by the recall.

My mom is pretty picky and she didn't complain when I switched her from premade to the powder mix. She has one every day. I make it in the morning in a shaker bottle, and give it a shake a few times a day. By the time I serve it at 5pm, it's fully mixed with no significant residual powder when she finishes drinking it.

Such a shame almost all protein powders still have sucralose in 2022. Everyone should know better by now and the companies shouldn't be using them.
