I did signup with .edu and I keep seeing $1,679 in the cart. I don't understand why this thread claims it is 1,575. Is it cookie specific?
Quote from augielicious :
No kidding, it's frustrating
The edu/epp discounts I believe right now are only for the 55" version. The 65" version only discounts for those with employee purchase discounts.

This TV is incredible. The firmware is nothing to be concerned about; the TV gets eye searingly bright to the point where I need to turn the brightness down.

The UI and remote are the stuff of nightmares, though.

Buy OEM remote.
I bought this and it works well with S95B.
This is worth $10 for direct input select, netflix, number pad, etc.

It's worth $10 just for the input button... So stupid of them not to have that on the remote...

Not getting that price. Only seeing the $2099.

I am registered with the Samsung Save at Work Member Store that says my TV discount is 25%, which should put the current $2099 price right at $1574. But not seeing any sort of additional discount.

You need to use employee discount to get it to work. I just bought one yesterday and picked it up same day at best buy

Are you talking about this problem.

Yes! So I had mine broke with less than 30 hours of use. So, I had my tv wall mounted facing downwards tilt. After it was no longer working, I pressed the center of the screen, and it moved like if you press down on a bubble. If that is what is causing the problem, then I imagine that whatever method they are using to adhere the oled screen to the chasis is weak. I dont know maybe the heat is causing the screen to separate? I wish I would have taken a video. But, I will check this tv out again next year, hopefully they will fix it. I loved this set when gaming, but I prefer my LG oled when watching movies. Anyone who says its the same should go watch guardians of the galaxy 2 in dolby vision vs HDR.

Yeah I'm going with a LG C2 77". Really wanted this TV but I'm not willing to roll the dice and have to deal with the headache.

What's the likelihood that the 55 inch will be less than $1350 on Black Friday?
