The MSRP for this set is $199.99, no idea why Amazon is still selling it at the price prior to August 1st price hike.

Don't forget to select "ship in Amazon packaging" when checking out for extra box protection and so people don't know what's inside.

You mean you want it in a box instead of Amazon shipping stickers all over the lego box? There's a certain charm peeling the labels off where it starts ripping the beautiful box. 🤦

The box I received was in a box from LEGO, then they put that box in an Amazon box with plastic air buffers. Boxception.

Most times I will choose the "gift" option and sometimes they will note discreet packaging. Every time I've done this they've sent it in a box. My last item was in a Lego box that was placed inside an Amazon box.

My teen sons both built this together. It's pretty awesome. Smilie

One of them used the regular manual and the other one the used the PDF file [lego.com] on a tablet. They built different parts from each of the numbered bags.

I've done this several times for expensive Lego items and every time it was Lego packaging + Amazon packaging so double boxed and arrived in pristine condition.

Every Lego set I've ordered from Amazon came in anAmazon box with air bags. The one time the Lego box itself was damaged (shampoo or something from someone else's box leaked all over mine) Amazon replaced it no questions asked.
