This will not degrade the signal ? Example if I extend my charger cable will it still charge fully for the same time ?

it's only three feet - in what situation are you requiring this rather than getting a longer usb charging cable?

It's important to know that the USB 3.0 spec is rated for a max distance of 3 meters, and any longer distance will see a quick drop off in performance, whether power or data.

So know that the cable by itself is over 3 feet, which by itself will be ok between devices, but if you use this as a USB extension, you'll need to consider the length of the other cable you're plugging into this.

For example, plugging your phone's 6ft USB 3.0 cable into this will put you at the max distance and you will see longer charge times, slower data rates, etc.

I used like four of these while routing cables through my computer monitor mount and through my desk to my desktop for cable management.
