Requires port in or new line if you are not already on ATT. Or just an upgrade fee for existing ATT lines.

Best Buy screwed up my order. No one knows where my order is. Few chat rep say it's waiting to be picked up by UPS. They are saying this for the last 5 days. Few chat reps even went on to say they can see it is out for delivery and will be delivered by end of day. How? I mean the UPS tracking number generated doesn't even work. UPS say the tracking is invalid.

Meanwhile, since this order was with a port in Best Buy seems to have activated the line. Now AT&T have generated a bill of $120.xx. Even if I cancel, I need to pay 6 days of service + $15 activation and taxes for a phone I never received. AT&T can only refund me $15 activation fee as a one time courtesy if I cancel the line. Have to pay $40 for nothing and now I need to buy the device at $100 more.

Best Buy is not even ready to price match if I make a 2nd order. Need to pay $100 more now if I find a device available for pickup.

Chat refused to cancel for me, even going into the store they refused to cancel. It seems you NEED to go through the retention department, who are able to do it for you. The lady I spoke to said I wouldn't be charged since I cancelled within 15 days and the line was never activated due to porting issue.

I had to go into the store to get my access code reset. After that I called support, said I wanted to cancel, they transferred me to retention who will not waste their time on you if you're firm in saying you just want to cancel and not deal with it. They get paid to save lines, they'll push you through quickly if you give no indication yours can be saved

The Phone can be unlocked as soon as you get them.
No services need if you want to cancel the services.

in my case, I got the phone and they can not port the number due to some technical difficulty. I end up asking them for a new number. but sent me a new sim card. I end up canceling it. so no bill for me from AT&T. since it indicates I have my own device. I also request for unlock code via this link https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/ 3 day later they approve the unlock and sent me the unlock code

update: I put in unlock code then pop in the sim card from Tractfone I order while back from HSN for $29.99, it uses the Verizon tower and it worked. too bad I will trade in this phone for flip 4

I put in my att unlock request on their website on august 19th. I activated my phone on Aug 20th. Today, aug 22 ATT sent me an email of my unlocked approval. I put in the request as a non ATT customer.

Same thing happened to me , UPS delivered my order but god knows where. best buy is send me a replacement order.

FYI Received my z flip about 6 days ago
called today and cancelled with the 14 day withdrawal option, can keep the phone with no plan costs and no effect on my credit. so sweet

wish i had ordered another when it was 199.. ill watch for a price drop

I am able to cancel my account via Chat today (Chat closed on weekend), no hassle at all. I simply type "Cancel", and then "Yes", it connect me to the retention dept. directly; rep asked for the reason and cancel for me. Looks like still zero due on my account so far.

One thing I found weird is that, after I enable my online access(have to for chat), my wireless account was in "suspended" status
