Have you played moonrider from the web browser? Pretty much the same game I believe (have played beatsaber yet), but they use the BS library and such. Moonrider.xyz in the browser, check it out and have fun.

Beatsaber never goes on sale, ever. It's popular enough that it doesn't need a discount. I'm not even sure if you can use the Oculus30 random coupons that appear in peoples' accounts on it.

In Death: Unchained is one of the most badass games ever created for VR. The graphics are pretty amazing for a Quest 2 game, too.

Doesn't it make more sense to buy it on Steam instead, so I can use it with any VR headset I own in the future?

Did they ever add the option to play locally? i.e take turns by passing the headset

That's typically my mentality - future-proof VR purchases by getting them on Steam. I made an exception in a few cases because we have 2 Quests (2's) and you can share a game (even simultaneously, multiplayer) with one other headset. So, sometimes during a sale, games like VR Walkabout Golf make sense to buy through Oculus. Also, obviously, if someone doesn't have a gaming PC, PCVR is not really an option.
