Wyze is having a warehouse sale event. The Nest Hub bundles appear to be good deals.

Google Nest Hub + Wyze Cam v3 ($59.99) https://www.wyze.com/products/goo...1614027938 OOS

Google Nest Hub + Wyze Cam Pan v2 ($69.99) https://www.wyze.com/products/goo...1614060706 OOS

QA Note: While the two bundles above are currently OOS, there are still other warehouse sale items or bundles available. Which, per the 'promotional terms' at the bottom of the page, has been extended through 08/26/2022 at 11:59pm PT

I have an Echo that I like because it is a Zigbee hub. Is the Nest Hub worth making the change?

Isn't wyze the company that basically left their systems completely open, allowing people to view your camera's? And then took months to do anything about it

What's the point of the hub? Have 2 Wyze cams and work fine without one.

Nope. Local storage can be accessed without subscription.

The Nest Hub is not a Zigbee or Z-Wave Hub. It doesn't have those radios. Google uses the term hub to mean you can control your smart devices from its screen.

An addendum that is probably obvious but just in case.... you need to buy a micro SD card for each camera to record locally.
There's no onboard storage, at least for the v3 cams.
