The version of Destroy All Humans that's on sale for $3.99 is the 2006 Playstation 2 version and NOT the remake.

If you buy it even with a P+ sale price, you will always have it in your library to play even if you no longer have P+. If it was a free P+ game then you have to have a current subscription to play it.

Diablo 3 is excellent. Highly recommend. Has so much reolayability (greater rifts) with really epic equipment and legendary drops. Buy now think later.

As someone else mentioned there is a separate section of ps+ specifically for ps5 owners that has a decent variety of good games for "free"

Same as everyone else has said, once you claim these games you will have access to them as long as you have any version of ps+

No, you keep that game since it's bought. You only lose access to the free games until you renew your subscription.

I have to wonder if that's changed now though, especially since PS+ has different "tiers" now. Sure. The "free" games that all tiers receive will remain active regardless of which tier you're subscribed to, but ones that come as part of a higher tier might not be available if you let your subscription lapse and only renew at the base tier.

Though I'm not quite sure how those tier specific ones work, whether they're claimed like the monthly games where you add them to your library or if they're just unlocked by being subscribed.

Then again I don't even currently have a PS+ subscription as I think it's a racket making it required for P2P "servers" for online play and don't view the added "benefits" as worth it. Though I am curious about Black Friday and IF we'll see an actual discount on the base tier at all this year. At $45 I might just use my credit card rewards to "pay" for it.

I purchased ps 5 last Saturday and I still don't have any game yet. And I haven't played any of the games on the above list. If you have to recommend one game on the list, what would that be? (Is metro redux any good?)

If you have Playstation Plus you have access to a bunch of PS4 games on the PS5. Look up the Playstation Plus Collection.
