Bought this game upon release and loved it. Same studio behind the Yakuza/Like A Dragon games. A TON of dialogue that can be a slog to even skip through individually but otherwise ridiculously fun and over the top like the source material.

It comes and go at this price every couple of months. I have it in my wishlist for a while. I played the demo, it's fun for a moment but it's very repetitive. I just love the anime, that's why it never left my wishlist. Probably a day it will be $1.99 or available with the ps+ collection…

i love the older Yakuza games and i love and grew up w Fist of the North Star...despite all that, this game was a serious grind. it's fun and i grinded all the way to get Platinum but i have to admit it was a slog at times. the core fighting is fun but the other gameplay is dated and it doesnt have any of the QoL improvements that have since come to this studio's games. IIRC, this came out around the same time as Yakuza 0 and was the last using the previous game engine.
