$70 is with ads just to note.
Worth it with Amex $25 offer?
I have the half off deal, and I am honestly having a hard time justifying that. I haven't watched anything on HBO/MAX for a couple of months.

My subscription expired yesterday but it won't let me get the deal. It also, apparently, is letting me still watch shows even though it clearly says I expire Sept 17th.
Shrug.
My subscription expired, and HBO sent me an email the following day with the offer. Unfortunately, the AMEX offer for HBO expired!LMAO I"m sure it wasn't supposed to expire yet, but it did. But maybe you'll receive an email with the offer.

YEP! Mine expired the day before I was going to use it because I cancelled my monthly. Talk about luck. Nothing new in my world.

looks legit, the annual rate equates to ~$2.50 a month, but does it have ads or limit what shows/movies are available?
No ads or limits. Full unlocked library that is available in the US (obviously once you disconnect from the VPN). You may get the occasional email/notification in Spanish but that's it.

Any suggestions on how to get this deal if my current subscription expires Oct 31st (1 day after promo ends)?

I cancelled my service but my subscription is still set to expire Oct 31st and it won't allow me to sign up for this new deal presumably until after Oct 31st.

Is the only way to take advantage of this deal by creating a new account? I'd rather not but will if its the only way.

thanks in advance.

I had the same issue. Unfortunately, the reduced renewal rate will not show up until your subscription is completely expired so a new account is the only way until that time.

Looks like a regular price now. Just need to chose yearly and the plans price will be $104.99 no ads or $69.99 with ads.

There will be an AMEX member's week starting Oct 10, valid for all AMEX cards. One offer is $50 credit when you spend $99+ on hbo max.

We were all suckers to use the $25 offer.

I just did this, $50 Amex Offer, and Raku for $16. Hopefully both post. That would make it less than $40 for the year.
