I don't see a weight limit for those sitting on it.

I found that it says:
"Comfortable seating for 2 adults"

Pretty vague, but at least it gives an idea of the weight limit. I'd say at least somewhere between 250-300lbs.

Here's a Q&A on Amazon's page for this product:
https://smile.amazon.com/Rubberma...merReviews

Question:
I don't see where it has a maximum weight capacity, does anyone know what it might be? thank you.
Answer:
Probably around the 250 - 275 pound limit. We have had many adults sit on it without any problems.
I love it and keep our pool towels in it.

Gee, sorry don't know a number, but we have had some pretty big guys sit on it with no problems.

I wouldn't put more than 200 lb total on it unless you're ok with it warping/sagging some

From their user and cara manual
"2. Do not exceed 400 lbs. of undistributed weight
on bench seat and 100 lbs. in storage
compartment."

Home Depot website has a question asked about the weight limit and Rubbermaid responded directly with "about 300 pounds".

I've had a pair of these identical benches for close to 20 years. They are phenomenally easy to take care of, still look like new. I've had two 200 pound people sitting next to each other on it numerous times without any warping or other issues. Based on my experience I would highly recommend these.

Thanks.

I can see the sitting weight being one of the determining factors to real 'quality' in these products.

I have this and I would say it is okay for two people. Space available wont allow you to seat more than two people. It is not strong and sturdy at all. I would rate it 3.5/5.

Is something you leave out all year long and is waterproof? I live in New England and I have a couple Suncast outdoor boxes I leave out all winter and continue to be waterproof just wondering bc you have had it for awhile if you have any input on its integrity for keeping things dry throughout the year. Thank you
