You think green berets carry little books and little chairs and desks with them ?

Then why is it intended to be pocket size? To read here and there, hoping to get it memorized before TSHTF?

What are the little chairs and desks for again?

And to get back on topic, this guide is OK. Not as well written or laid out as others I've read. I recommend the Survival Doctor's Handbook for the medical stuff and Bushcraft 101 for the survivalist stuff. Not pocket sized or free, but well written and full of actual good advice for outdoorsy people and bunker dwellers alike.

This is where we are as a species... In a thread about adapting, overcoming, surviving.... While bitching about how something FREE can't be even more of a convenience. The ironic entitlement of these internet Karens really is something else. 🔥 Suit on and ready.

And thanks OP. Added to collection.

Try printing this DRM locked kindle file and let me know how much effort it takes you
Hmm, there is this article that seems to put it step by step using calibre, here https://pdf.wondershare.com/how-t...o-pdf.html

Of course this isn't to distribute it, it is just to convert it to pdf for fair use because you don't have a kindle in your remote cabin so need to format it to paper. I'm not saying break the DRM but if you already have the rights to read the book then you have the rights to read it in different formats.

I've tried that software before and the results weren't exactly as expected, but yeah, you're probably spending more parts and labor on doing this to print it yourself. And again, this guide isn't really worth it. Thanks for the link though. Best of luck to anyone who tries it!

I have, and did print a book a little while back. Then read neither the printed version nor the kindle. Lol, I'm sure I won't be the last to be all gung ho then never finish reading it.

don't buy it! there so many copies at the airborne school CQ. If you can't even make to the jump school, don't bother to get it.

Here's some links regarding the subject of removing DRM,
you can find other links to articles doing a quick search yourself,

1.) https://www.cloudwards.net/remove...dle-books/

2.) https://www.techradar.com/how-to/...ook-to-pdf

3. If after all this advice being shared on this thread, don't tell me you're too blind to see, that's all I got to say;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj1ykZWtPYI

Breakdown,
It makes sense to use the Calibre software when removing DRM for a few Kindle books as there are more steps in the process but it is free.
If you have many books in your Kindle library that you want to remove DRM from and print to PDF, there is an alternative method using paid software (epubor) you can use which simplifies the process.

NOTE: Don't forget to buy a ferrocerium rod and/or a magnesium rod to get that fire going so you don't have to read in the dark.

If you're going to do all that, just go to b-ok.org and save yourself some time...

Sunlight is pretty good lighting to read too.
