I purchased an e-bike from this company. The bike arrived damaged, but joyride sent replacement parts. Unfortunately the battery still did not fit onto the bike. The company then stopped responding to my emails. I now have an expensive nonfunctional e-bike and threw away nearly $1000! I honestly can't even believe it. Personally, I wish I'd gone with another brand.
Seems like a legit company but sounds like bad news if you have a problem they don't want to deal with.

Not sure about the Xiaomi 365 as it was a much premium looking unit to me but the Hoover 1 Alpha is more like it.

With the drum brake the Hover seems more like the Juice and this is the Pioneer. The Pioneer has bluetooth connectivity for an installed speaker in the deck, so I am hoping that also means firmware can be accessed through it.
There are posts on Reddit saying you can use Xiaomi 365 parts like this battery swap

I purchased an e-bike from this company. The bike arrived damaged, but joyride sent replacement parts. Unfortunately the battery still did not fit onto the bike. I bought the other model from this company, the Juice 5 which should be the higher end model.
The unit arrived with scratches and an overtightened screw that broke the wood deck. And hear me, this is not the worst.
The center stem CANNOT be folded back once unfolded!
According to them, the screw inside is stuck, they sent me a video, asking me to loose few screws and try to push the latch open with a crowbar. Yes, you heard me right, not only they wanted me to fix it myself, it was a "fix it or break it at your cost" solution. If I really use a crowbar to force it open, it would probably break the plastic latch and it will not be covered by any warranty because I manually break it.
I tried loosing the screws, but refused to try pushing it open with a crowbar. Then they stopped replying my email. That was a freaking $900 scooter.
Also, the listed power is MAX power, not rated power which is more commonly listed on other vendors' pages.
When the latch is fully locked, the center stem would still wobble quite a lot, making it feel dangerous when riding on certain roads.

I ordered mine from hurleybike.com, but it's never the actual Hurley(the fashion brand).
The actual manufacturer, or I should call them the seller since I think it is just a rebranded knockoff products, is called JoyRideBike.
Any CS or Warranty questions go to JoyRideBike, and the CS sucks!
I ended up buying the NIU KQI3 from Wellbots for $570.
From my experience, I think it's better to just wait for deals from these legit scooter companies, such as segway, niu and hiboy.
