After bought 5 diff brands on amazon, max I would pay for solar led light is $1 each.
Let see: water damage, heat damage, trash battery, trash solar panel, trash overall quality.

You should buy your solar lights from Costco. They'll take them back if they don't work. I had similar issues with these cheap Amazon lights.

I have bought 3 different times from Costco and none has any issues until now. In case they do, I have peace of mind

Agreed. Never found a solar light that was worth anything more than free. Just wire LV and be done with the awful looking insanity of terrible solar products.

As long as you invest a dollar or so, I am afraid you will only end up with more trash. My solar motion detecting floodlight from Costco from nearly a decade ago is still going strong. I had to replace the 9 AA rechargeable batteries once.

Problem with these types of lights is the oxidation on the solar panel after a year or so.

Actually the person replied to someone else, not you. So it wasn't point blank, and you added yourself to complain about Costco not being near you. Battery holds great and the panels are still kicking. Bought one for my parents walkway more than 6 years ago and it still works. Not a single LED is burnt out nor the panel itself has been damaged by the sun.
