You can barely get a couple tanks of gas for $200 these days. I still have lego from the 80s when I was a kid. $200 isn't a lot of money these days especially for something that will last the rest of your life and hold its resale value if you want to get rid of it.

I've been lucky on Amazon with bigger sets, but smaller sets like speed champions they put in bubble mailers and they're always crushed.

- Thought I'd add, in my case, it is sometimes carrier issues/how long they are in transit. I do most of my shopping on-line so I pretty regularly get boxes that are very damaged. With the bubble mailers, they are pretty much guaranteed to be damaged though.
Agreed. Every Amazon smaller set I've gotten has been in a bubble mailer and smashed. I hate dealing with returns so I usually bite the bullet and just keep them. But it is annoying.

From the picture, it looks more like a truck after the front hood of the car to the back. Anyone have actually build this 2022 version one? Does it look better in person than what the picture shows?

I haven't seen it in stock on Lego.com, but if you have a Lego store nearby make sure to check store stock. The one near me has it stock quite often, although when I ended up getting my Delorean the boxes were damaged but I got $25 or $50 in VIP bucks for buying it.

This is going to sound crazy but hear me out. You can search the internet for other pictures and even videos of this set being built to get a better idea of how it looks.

For the record I have never had a single issue with Zavvi. Everything I have ordered has come quickly and well wrapped. I am tracking the Technics Volvo reticulated loader for a sale and might pick up a couple. Usually I build one and put 2 or 3 sets away for investment. I recently sold 3 of my Falcon 7965 sets for $250 each that I paid under $100 each. Legos frequently outperform the market. There are sites that track when sets are to be discontinued. Buy sets that are close to being retired and sell them a year or 2 after they do at Christmas time and you are sure to double your money.

I ordered Ecto-1 and it's my first time ordering a Lego set from them. Came in a bad condition. Shipping box has no damage but the lego box and some creases in the middle and the sides are a bit busted.

I just received it a couple of minutes ago and as suspected, the condition of the box is immaculate compared to the one a couple weeks ago....Fresh stock alright at A or A+ grade and ready to admire. Happy shopping!

I saw this set way back when Wally world started the 169.99 sale but hesitated. Then Bestbuy, Barnes & Noble and Amazon had same price. I guess a lot of resellers bought them up as they hit this price. I got one from Walmart thru VIP Outlet and box was smashed and taped up with shipping labels on the Lego box, I returned to Walmart next day. I got another one from Amazon & waiting on shipment next week.

Just received, they shipped from GB via 2-day! Arrived in perfect condition as if I picked it off the shelf myself - huge external box but was jam packed full of packing material.
