Just something to keep in mind regarding these - I got these from the last post they were in and the drive seems to have a max read/write speed of like 40 MB's per sec. A bit disappointing because I wanted to use it as Plex drive to store all my movies and junk on but copying the contents over has been tedious... I searched online and it seems that others have reported similar read/write times.
EDIT: And this is either via USB-C or USB 3.0 connection. Tested on 2 computers.

Not all USB-A/C cables are the same. Some were designed specifically for data transfer, others for general charging (can data transfer but will be slow).
Did you use the USB-A/C cable that came with the hard drive? That cable gave me about 120 MB/s sequential read/write. I tested another USB-A/C cable i use for charging, and it gave me around 40 MB/s.

I did use the one that came with the device and was getting the 40 mb's per sec transfer speed. May just use some other ones I have to see if that improves speeds.
