I am tempted with this and was at costco this afternoon. Saw a display and decided to take off the side panel and check out the inside

1. PSU is standard atx. Can be replaceable. But depth is limited. So most likely you wont able to upgrade to 800-1k watt psu. 650 watt psu most likely will fit
2. There are 3 dp and 1 hdmi output on the gpu card
3. There is a cross bar on top of the cpu cooler, so wont able to upgrade to vt heatsink version. Upgrade will be limited to horizontal heatsink.
4. Only have 1 extra x1 pcie slot
5. I didn't see a wifi card and how many ram slots it has

Still tempting

If it was me.....I get the Costco deal just because the Lenovo model plus costco support and 90 day love it or leave it. Plus a 12 generation i7....you have my fking attention.
Those 12th generation cpu are fast...even the I3 is supper fast.

After 40 days if you have problems....you are screwed. But Costco...no problem.
4 year warranty using their card.

you read the negative reviews and I just say screw it. Buy from Costco.

I love Costco and Costco loves you. I bought a TV and after 45 days it was defective. Brought it....actually dragged it back since it was big. No problem. Got a new TV from Costco...happy.

I buy my TV and Computers from Costco. After you pick up your computer at Costco, get that hot dog and coke for 1.50. A good shopping day.

The 12700 processor is a lot better than the 5600g you have. You have to get up to the 5950x level to get comparable performance and even then the 12700 is better. I have it in a diy build and it's awesome.

the lenovo has a newer CPU but if you're just gaming you won't ever notice a difference.

i think the lenovo might be a weird case and PSU size but that's also probably irrelevant.

i can't say anything about the reputation of either company, maybe someone else has some experience with them.

It is possible, but far from ideal.

I got the Lenovo Legion 5 gaming tower. I like the build quality.

But this computer with the i7 12th....and 3060 is rock solid for most gamers.

add to that 4 year warranty by costco and support by costco.

Looks like underpowered for its price.

Laptops with similar specs are sometimes cheaper and they include a monitor, keyboard, webcam, touchpad, UPS and they ran much efficient.
Find me a laptop with a desktop 12700 and 3060 in it.
