Our shop uses these type of ecoboxes. We're pretty heavy handed with them and they've never leaked. Some of them stay opened on the shelf for up to a year without issue.

I had not heard of this brand, so I looked at the Petroleum Quality Institute of America site. The additive packages look good for this oil:

At the risk of starting a heated debate, I'll tell you that you can use 5w-30 and 5w-20 interchangeably. I use 5w-30 during the summer and 5w-20 / 0w-20 during the winter for my Camry 2009. It's probably better to change oil every 6 months / 5000 miles than having the exact oil. In the summer, I use thicker oil to protect against engine wear, in the winter, I use thinner oil to protect against engine wear during cold start.

Like you said, at the risk of a debate. I just take the word of the team of engineers who built, designed, and tested my engine. They're a lot more educated, and paid a lot more than likely anyone else here. 😅 me especially

It's because of how they build engines now for fuel economy. The seals are weak for less resistance/friction. The oil is thinner also. They tell customers it's normal to burn a half quart or a quart of oil every thousand miles.
