Windows itself uses nearly 4GB RAM just at the desktop. I'm on W10 right now and all I have open is chrome and edge, with 2 tabs in chrome and 4 on edge, and I'm at 4.6GB of RAM usage. I just bought my dad a new laptop because he had something like this and I concluded it was the 4GB of RAM that was causing his issues. Youtube would stutter, pages would hang, it was ridiculous. I bought him a different budget machine with 8GB of RAM and all else about equal at it runs at warp speed.
I don't know how Windows 11 S mode runs, but even if more efficiently than W10 or 11 in non S mode, it's a restricted existence anyways : /
A low price doesn't mean a good value.
Very happy w my 14.1 purchase

They are 250 at my local stores, got a lot of them. I'm watching tho incase drops to 150 which someone posted rang up at their store. I'm totally happy at 250, but I will return and rebuy for 150 at the stores that have 5-7 in stock for me.

Honestly, it's super nice. One you go into trackpad settings and adjust sensitivity etc to your liking I really don't mind it
Speakers are not good. But they do make sound. Just nothing to write home about lol.
I updated all windows stuff, then upgraded to windows 11, then I used a windows debloater script, and used a program to update all drivers. It's damn quick with no bloatware and updated drivers
For 250 I think it's a damn steal. The screen is real nice too. Metal lid, seems sturdy, chasis seems sturdy keys aren't bad either.

for 250. This is a lot of bang for buck. It's i5 11gen, 16gb ram 512ssd' i am a macbook guy and i actually approve of the quality it seems quite nice. the only complaint i have is, the backspace key is large, larger than my macbook. and the sensor evidently is directly in the center of it, because if you hit the each edge of the backspace, like very gently, it doesn backspace, but hit it more towards center. boom. so the trigger is centered while key is large, kind dumb. should of just bene a smaller bckspace like every other computer
playing with it i can see when i push the edges, how the center goes down last, the deflection i guess youd call it. but if you simply push the whole buttom down in any corner it does go back. im a macbook user, so im spoiled with the extremely accurate key response, thats the only real gripe i have with it.
this isnt my main pc, so i dont really care though.
