Any point switching to this from a prepaid carrier? I've been using Mint happily for years. I have Comcast internet and its a constant struggle to get decent pricing, I guess they both use T-Mobile but I don't know in practice if they work as well.

XM actually uses Verizon network. If you can get the $30 per month (for 24 month) discount off your internet bill by bundling XM then it is a deal. But i think this bundling discount is only for new xfinity internet customer or those who received the offer. Might want to call the customer loyalty team to see if u can get the offer.

IMEI checker tells me all my iPhones which I bought from XM over the last few years are not compatible. How can this be?

i think they call it HD pass.. per gig plans get that included and i am on per gig plan and I can see the difference compared to tracfone -verizon based. the unlimited plans doesn't include by default but you can pay $20 per line extra to enable HD pass.

I think it may have been in a previous thread for this offer, but I believe I saw someone say they weren't sure if bringing a phone currently used with Verizon postpaid would qualify for this offer. Seems like it should work, but just wanted to confirm before porting my Verizon number over. I only have one device to activate with XM and it's my current phone being used with Verizon.

If you are on another Verizon MVNO currently or if your phones were ported out within the last 90 days; it may not be accepted.

Or if you're using the second (eSIM) IMEI; XM doesn't have eSIM.

I've had iPhones back to the first gen SE accepted; but iPhone 8 on another MVNO was rejected initially. Second round after porting out of the other MVNO got the same phone accepted.

Is there a way to cancel existing line without calling them? I see option to generate pin for porting out but it's asking to call customer care for cancelling existing lines.

I just cancelled a line on Friday over chat. Had previously called to cancel 3 days prior and found out it was still active. Had to nag a few "agents" before actually being connected to what seemed like a real person but I got a cancellation email before the chat was done.
