with the depth (being 11.75" depth mid shelf to guessing 14" depth bottom shelf) would barely fit an avr front to back, and only on the bottom shelf. And if it does fit, the mostly closed back would melt an avr. And sometimes the backs of these stands support the structure so cutting them out might not work.
