You plug this in and have more functionality then most streaming services. It's small and you can conceal it

That might not be entirely true ...
I have upgraded several Dell 7440 Optiplex All-In-Ones with i5-6500 processors to Windows 11 byI don't have a 7040 to test, but considering it should upgrade to TPM 2.0, I wouldn't be surprised.

Any idea the difference between the 7040 and 3050 you linked in the old thread?

16 Gig, i5 something … sounds reasonable.

I can't tell from the photos - does this have a pci slot, can it accommodate a graphics card?

On the other thread for the 7040 they said a low profile card would work.

Is there space in the box to fit a 3.5" HDD? thinking to use it as a Blue Iris system. and if I'm greedy, what about two 3.5" HDDs?

edit
answered
Drive bays 3.5in/(2x)2.5in; 5.25in (slim);

It's fantastic for that. I'm currently running one at work (i7-6700, 16gb ram, SSD) and don't notice any slowdown. Running Win10, outlook, excel, dozen chrome windows and tabs, teams, all at once with no issues.

Yeah, there's a x16 slot in there, but I don't think there's any power. We've added some cheapo low profile cards to a few of these machines just for office use - needing more monitors, or the user broke the onboard displayport jack, or whatever.

A lot of reviews saying the included SSD is a no name brand with bad reliability. May be a good idea to swap it in case.
