Its tough to track a game like this, when they release the same game across 3 generational platforms (PS3, 4 and 5! Xbox 360, One, & X|S) in 10+ different ways but you're both right. Its been $15 in the past. GTA 6 cant' come soon enough!

How does inflation *not* hit digital? It doesn't change the relative prices of things, just everything costs more bc money is worth less.

Anyway, I'm def in for some games. Just bought a used Xbox One on nextdoor…

Not exactly. If we weren't in a forum I'm sure we could discuss this for days. But if your point were wholely correct inflation would be equal across all sectors.
The only thing I was getting at is it's not as if there were some supply chain issue with digital games lol.
It's more likely greedy price gouging in the name of inflation.
And that ain't just the case here lots of opportunistic price raising going on WITH actual inflation...js

Cost of living is up. For everyone. People who have the means of selling to the public are going to raise prices to help with that. It's same thing when gov. goes around putting fees and taxes on corporations. All that does is make them ask for more from us to pay for it. Basic economics.
