Yup. Got me with that too, and their CSR never had a clue as to why. Actually it happened to me twice. First time, the CSR said it was because I wasn't allowed to use that GC to buy one of theirs (clearly not the case as they had approved an order just prior while I used the same method).

Second time, the CSR told me it was a problem on the GC end and not on Costco's end. Again, clearly wasn't the case.

Trying to meet the requirements for an AMEX SUB. Would AMEX flag this as a MS and not count it toward my progress? I know their terms say that this is not allowed, just curious how rigidly it is enforced.

It's frustrating to see that they even offer the $125 option but not $250 one.

With only the 5% discount, to offset the $5.95 fee the card value must be at least $120.

My order was received but I was charged the full amount. I am sure I applied the coupon and confirmed in the order summary before I submitted. I contacted customer service and they said they would process a refund for the entire amount and I cannot use the card. Anyone received refund before.

It depends. If you are not going to use these in the next 12 month then it is worth turning them to Amazon Gift Card ,as to avoid the $5.95 inactivity fee on virtual visa . Keep in mind that if you maxed this deal then you already have 10%>5% Amazon CC
Refer to my question how much i end up paying ? To know how you can max this deal to 10%.

It count toward signup bonus . It worked for me and got the Amex bonus.

You can not combine virtual visa cards. Conider getting the 250$ card as it cover must purchases . If you want to buy above to $250 item consider Merchant that accept multipe cards payment such as dell which accept up to 3 forms of payments. Or turn them to amazon gift cards and buy any item .
