If you live near a harbor fright these sell for $15 normally. I wait for them to go on sale or use a 20% coupon. I've got a few of them and they have held up well. The only difference is a black coating on the hooks vs the green.

My garage came with one of those sideways-hanging hook racks.

There's a reason why the previous owner left it attached. It pretty much sucks.

I have a similar one to this. The coating on the hooks for the cheap versions is not great. All of my tools tend to slide down the wall after putting them in because there isn't much friction. Luckily my garage has a one cinder block high wall that sticks out from the wall about an inch or two. So my metal shovels and rakes can rest on that. But just be aware things won't necessarily stay where you put them with the cheap ones.
