What is the draw for this keyboard? Is it that people like the ThinkPad keyboard feel, the ball tracker (TrackPoint?) or something else?

I hate this keyboard the stupid function key is placed to the right of the control key on the right hand side . This layout is different to almost every other keyboard I have used. Back in the day laptop Thinkpad keyboards were the gold standard in the Windows world.

For me, mainly the TrackPoint, which let me rest my hands on the keyboard most of the time coding. Other people might have different ideas.

Fn key is at the left side on this keyboard. But I agree old Thinkpad keyboards are better.

The Thinkpad keyboards are still the gold standard. And your claim shows that you haven't had or ever used a Thinkpad because all Thinkpads going back to the IBM days had the Fn key at the leftmost part of the keyboard, to the left of the Ctrl key.
