Comparing this to the latest best price of the 2lb bag of Wonderful pistachios (about $5.41 w/5% s&s) with shells, if you take into account that a pistachio is approximately 1/2 shell and 1/2 kernel by weight, it would cost you $10.18 to get the same amount of these shelled pistachios that you'd get after shelling the 2lb bag. However, seeing as how it takes approx 12 minutes to casually shell 4oz (1cup by volume) of unshelled pistachios, you are saving 1hr 36 mins of shelling time. So, the savings of $4.77/32oz bag of unshelled pistachios works out to saving $2.98/hr of shelling time. HOWEVER, the shells definitely help with portion control, and without them it's way too easy to eat too many of the shells pistachios (tbh it's already difficult not to eat too many of the unshelled pistachios, atleast for me). Therefore we'll need to factor in the approximate $30 cost of for a timed pet food dispenser. This also means having 1 more appliance in the home of a slickdealer who already has way too much unwanted stuff in their house. However, this should be negated by the space savings achieved from hoarding 10lbs of shelled pistachios vs 20lbs of unshelled. If anybody wishes to continue this please do as I'm now bored and may have missed out on an important deal.

Quick comparison:
Walmart - $9.94 for 11oz (90 ¢/oz) - Note: Walmart.com is wrong as usual claiming 62.1 ¢/oz

These are terrible. Love pistachios and love some of the other flavors but these are just awful. Bought three bags, threw the rest of the first bag away, and donated the other two to a local food pantry and felt bad about doing so...
