Im not a big fan of the S Bracket mounting system. It works fine on 200 pro but its an extra piece to bring and deal with. I have the 400 pro too and for the size and price difference the 300 just seems like an odd Duck. The 200 is way smaller and the 400 is bigger but not too much. The S Bracket just kills it for me. One more thing to go wrong when on location.
Herea a good explanation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PuI7TXoQWw

He's reviewing it from a strictly real estate POV. I watched his review a long while back and his points make sense by and large for real estate. However, he wasn't taking into account this price which is CHEAPER than an AD200pro. It's a steal for this price.
I love the integrated Godox mount for small compact soft box setups. Perfect for me. In some ways it's smaller than my AD200 pro because it's much shorter than the AD200 with round head. The modeling light is also actually useful unlike the AD200.
Lastly, I can't agree that the AD400 is "not too much bigger". It's a pretty sizeable leap for 100W/s

it doesnt change the light output no matter what you use it for. Plus he was just using Frenel not even round head or bare bulb. Sharpen says the same thing and hes really into Flashpoint and Adorama. Pass on the 300. 200 way more versatile, smaller, lighter and you can add a second later and make 400ws.

You must have larger pockets than I do if the 200 fits in your pocket. It's significantly longer than the AD300 especially with the H200R round head that I use.
As for the power, the power is 100W/s higher. How that power is dispersed is different. For real estate purposes he wants concentrated light. For most other purposes you want it nicely dispersed. Different applications different benefits.
