That's exactly what I did, and I totally regret it. My insignia was on its last legs and thought this would be a great replacement. When I got the Chefman first it had a really bad chemical smell that would not go away no matter what I did. Second it is not powerful enough and doesn't make anything crispy like the insignia did. Good luck.

I got the 5 quart version of it when I got my gift card from my Insignia return. It feels really small for a 5 qt and the basket is really hard to close. I am thinking about returning it and then just getting another Insignia. This is just the bigger version of the same one I got, so I don't think it will be much different.

That seems unreasonable. Ever since I can remember pretty much every store ever was at least 30 days.

I've had one of these for about a year. Touch controls started acting weird and not responding consistently about 3 months in. It still performs just fine, but the controls can be frustrating.
