YMMV —
Should even work with old Iphones that aren't in perfect condition! About a month ago I went into the T-mobile store with my family. We previously switched to a T-Mobile plan from Sprint's ED1500 we had for many years. My whole family was able to get new Iphone 13 Pros after trading in 2 IPhone 11's,
1 IPhone 8 Plus (with a small crack on the bottom corner), and an Iphone XR. We paid ($35 dollar upgrade fee + presale tax on new phone)/phone. The only catch seems to be that it's bill credits over 24 months so you are likely locked into contract for 2 years. You might be able to skirt paying the $35 upgrade fee if you do it online and not via store or call support.

To clarify, this promo is only if we have switched from a Sprint plan to a T-mobile plan? I'm still on the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan, so I'm guessing it will not work for my family.

I keep on telling myself I'm going back to AT&T for the national retailer deals, especially for the past two years as T-Mobile run the Sprint division into the ground, gutting industry standards Sprint had parity with AT&T and Verizon one by one, reverting to the T-Mobile way of doing everything on the cheap (in terms of quality, not price) with gimmicks while charging 1st rate carrier prices despite *still* being a 2nd rate carrier just twice the size as before.
T-Mobile's move to kill unlimited Japan roaming on SoftBank was the last straw for me, it's now a matter of when I leave not if. What can I do on the way out to get one last deal out of these people?
