I picked up a pair of aviators and a pair of tortoise shell prescription sunglasses... total... 46... probably could have gotten it cheaper if I bought both at the same time... but I'm sleepy so meh.

new to abbe but i am impressed by pricing, selection, ane seem to hwve a phenomenal warranty for 90 days INCLUDING broken glasses replacement pair. i always look for this and use the benefit when available, ending up g up with another pair of new glases towards the end of the warranty period (if i can deal with thr small scratches on lense or the frame warpijg, both occurring from normal wear and tear being pretty much and envevidable (see abbe 90 day warranty info. below)

Abbe glasses seem to be a good deal...neat site. Anybody know how long to Arrive via free shipping method? Or anybody have any feedback regarding the quality vs. zenni? I played around with the pairs and offerings from abbe after seeing this post. I am in for 4 pairs of glasses anti scratch, anti reflect, 1.57 lens upgrade all including free shipping for around $70, beating zenni since of the lense features included from abbe. Tha nks for sharing and I'm excited to get these glasses in! Please leave feedback though on quality and shipment received time-frame if you have it. Appreciate it in advanced!

Warranty FYI- if ordering I thought this was fairly risk free due to getting store credit If a pair doesn't work out. I love the 3 month warranty that includes BROKEN glasses!

I think I saw that they had those but I'm not there yet... so didn't really look into it.

Thank and repped, OP. Ordered frames for only $1 using the code NEWCOMER and ended up paying $16.34 out the door.
Frames $19.49 (-$18.49 discount)
Lenses $3.95
Anti reflective coat $4.49
Case .95 cents
No tax in Florida
Shipping $5.95
Subtotal $28.88
Paid $16.34 after code

I've never used this company before, but for under $20, I thought it was worth a try. Thanks, OP!

Progressive 1.61/1.67 index polarized lenses ended up at about mid 90s. They also offered 1.57 which would've been about half that.

Clear Progressives were about 40-50 with a nice titanium frame. 1.61 index blue blocker.

They offer three types of photo chromatic lenses.
Selecting Transitions 1.61, which is their top tier was 125. Advanced photo-chromatic was about 50.

Yes there are progressive lenses too. Try the code. The discounts are unparallel and the best I have seen up to this moment.

Not too surprisingly, these are coming from China... And it occurs to me... That's probably why it takes two weeks for my glasses to come in from vision works... Because they to get my $300 pair of glass from China.

There was a phase where every shop had their own lab, but eventually most shops now sub it out and buy from the big labs. Even a US lab would take about two weeks. I did enjoy the glasses I purchased from Visionworks(I would pick them up during their buy one get one sale)

Which lab they use would likely depend on the lens you ordered. Things might've change but I have not used visionworks in a very long time. I do like that they are not owned by Luxottica.

Agreed. Luxottica is the craziest monopoly... they own the vision plan I pay for... the place I get my prescription, the glasses brands I buy... the lenses I buy... They have a monopoly from top to bottom... they probably own the trash company I throw my old glasses away @.

I got my glasses today... All things considered, I'm happy with them. Need to go get them adjusted to my face.
