Tried 8 stores around me, and none participated. Doing it online makes it easy to check as you can switch the location multiple times in your cart to see if the promotion code works.

Subway passes the entire cost of coupon to the franchise.
Technically they can do a coupon that says buy 1 get 100 free like this. No wonder franchises don't want to accept it.

When time when I was with a friend, I had a coupon and presented it to the clerk, who said something to their fellow-coworker, while ringing me up. It was in their native language. My friend, actually understood their native language. Turns out they were saying "this cheap guy is not going to buy anything, but just wants this freebie". Yes, why you're so right yummy

i wont set foot in one. there's a dozen in my area in NYC and they are always empty. nobody goes to them because its just much cheaper to get a sandwich at a supermarket deli across the street. who knows how long these stores sell the meat after it goes bad. i can see why nobody goes there.

I have lots of SWs around me; however, the one nearest me isn't the cheapest and were not taking this coupon. No worries, there's another one just a few miles away and is part of a gas station, so the prices were better. Two cold cut sandos for $7.49, though it used to be $5.49 last year.

Probably you should order ahead and pay at the cashier once the sandwich is made. If they refuse the coupon, then you can say you can't afford the sandwich without the coupon. They will lose the sandwich if you don't buy it. In this case, they will probably accept your coupon to lose a little instead of the cost of whole sandwich?

There isn't a subway within a 15 mile radius of my home that will accept coupons online or in person. I won't buy subway without a coupon way to expensive.
