For anyone who is wondering if an old Mac can be a useful computer, I have an early 2013 i7 Macbook Pro with 16gb of ram. It runs smooth as butter. It does get a little warm compared to new models, and the battery doesn't last the longest anymore but neither of those should be a problem on this AIO desktop. If you are using this for business purposes, running Premier or some other highly resource intensive applications, then you need to go spend $2k on a brand new one. For college students who just need the Office suite and internet, or for a personal use home computer...this Mac will work great.
BTW intel macs are basically every mac this side of 2010 up until a couple years ago. They're great. Are M1 Macs better? Yea, but they're a whole lot more money.
