Does the 330 in the name stand for the read or write speed or not?

Read Speed (Max.) 95 MB/s
Write Speed (Max.) 75 MB/s

These are for really old MacBooks. Not sure why it says 2021.

Just buy one of these, this specific one fits the 14" M1 Pro, and use your own mSD card. At least you can repurpose the mSD card in the future. You have to buy the correct one for your MacBook since there are several configurations depending on the depth of the SD slot. I'm getting about 85 MB/s write using the latest Samsung Evo 512 GB mSD card.

Yup, just a simple adapter. Think it's only UHS I, but it's fast enough for me.

It sucks that they can't make a micro-sd adapter in this form-factor so that you could swap it later with other devices. This size limits it to only one use.

100% I still have one from my old MacBook Air. Still works, fast for THAT device slow on the M1.

These things are cool, Used to have one on an old air but for people actually using their pro laptop for work, blocking that port All the time sucks. So nice having the as card slot when on a shoot or editing in the field. If that is not you then I would totally get one of these.

Totally agreed, waste of money. Not only it is slow, the reliability is super concerning.

HI Quick question. I have a MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021). Is this model fits in my latest Macbook pro?
