check some of the reviews on YT. these are not made anymore but for the price, many feel they offer a great value based on performance and fit/finish and looks.
Having heard both I would say the 702's have a deeper/richer presence but maybe not as clean a sound as these.
My opinion it's because of the cleaner mid bass.
The 702's are much harder to drive but if you have it and prefer to listen at high volumes it may be a worthy benefit.
I would add the 702's are a little more tricky with placement.
As someone pointed out there are vast many other things to consider here, this is just my opinion from listening to both.
I agree these offer great sound performance for this price.
702's sound great and if you can get them for close to this price, that may be the better choice.

On a budget these often pretty good sound performance for the price.
As a matter of fact people often ask for comparisons between the common speakers that pop up in here which IMO are incremental differences in sound.
They would be better suited to compare them to these, much bigger gap IMO.
