Wow that's a price that's out of this world. No special features that come on the Blu-ray, but the Blu-ray doesn't come with a digital copy.

For those who don't know, this is one of the best tv remasters ever, and a fantastic show too. It's 4:3 in the proper original aspect ratio. I watch this from VUDU all the time and I've gotten my money's worth. This is a steal.
FYI: If anybody is willing to roll the dice on waiting a few days on this, there's a promotion going on involving General Mills cereals where you can get a $13 credit on Vudu (by purchasing 3 qualifying cereals) to apply towards this deal, which would take your out of pocket cost down even further.

I did it earlier this month and got the $13 in two business days. Deadline to purchase the cereals that qualify is TOMORROW (8/31). You can do the promotion TWICE. getting $26 in credits to apply to this. Most grocery stores have the qualifying cereals (10-12 Oz boxes) for $2 each on sale.

Details on the credit deal are in THIS thread:

To my knowledge no TV show works with MA.

I have chromecast with Google TV, and I use the Vudu app on it all the time.

Got it! Thanks! Not sure if it's glitched or not but I wasn't taking a chance to find out! Split this with my mother-in-law for $12.50 each! Whatta deal!

INSANELY GOOD DEAL. I remember paying like $50 for one season of the DVD back in the late 90's/early 00's.

And as Arcluna said, they remastered it for 1080, spent a ton of money doing it. Even recreating some of the S/X shots so it would be in HD.

Good deal. The organization and browsing of episodes is probably better on Vudu than it is for this collection via Apple. I got in on that deal for $30 a couple months ago.

IIRC this is by far the best deal ever on this excellent series.

ETA: Interesting that ST Voyager is part of the same sale, but $40, even though it contains fewer episodes and was not remastered.

Also worth noting is that TNG is more relevant than it's been in many years, given the release of new series, especially the upcoming Picard Season 3 which features these original cast members.

Vudu is owned by Fandango which is owned by NBC and WB. It's not going out of business but they can sell the service and make it so bad that you'll quit watching.

This was on Netflix for the longest time. Wish they'd bring it back to a streaming platform so I can finish watching it. Its a great show but I just don't see myself watching multiple times to justify purchasing the set

No monthly subscription fees, no ads, no having to change out discs every 4 episodes and it's the remastered HD version. I'll have it at the tip of my fingertips for as long as VUDU is around.

It's pretty obvious. It's gone and you're SOL unless the company gets bought out of bankruptcy by another company and they somehow agree to honor all previous purchases.

Not sure if all series allow this or not but the ones I do have on Vudu allow you to download the episodes to view offline. Not sure if this one allows that but if so you could always back up the digital version on a device. Of course I'm sure it requires some kind of license verification by checking online every so often but at least it's an option and would cut down on bandwidth usage versus streaming.

Either way I'm actually kinda considering this deal since Pluto TV only seems to air a certain amount of episodes and then swaps those out for other ones every so often. Sure. It's free (with your internet) to stream but the fact that the entire series isn't available is annoying, especially since they're on first season episodes this week.

Then you'd be out $24 bucks. We get it.

VUDU has been around for twenty years and all-digital for over a decade. At some point, it's OK to just accept the risk, especially for something as irrelevant and unnecessary as movies.

Your world wouldn't end if you suddenly couldn't watch the second best Star Trek series smh.

This show is on Paramount+, and they are always posting codes for a free month on Slickdeals. If you want to watch it, but don't care to "own" it that is the cheaper route. The latest code I saw was BRAVO. Start your free premium subscription using the code, cancel immediately, and continue watching for the month. Then, when it runs out, do a quick search on Slickdeals, and repeat...
