does it come in usb 3.x and fast charging but shorter, 2-3'? i have nothing that needs 100w and 6' but for faster data transfer would be more useful

Tell me about it. Last three 6' cables I bought since I bought my 6' Anker died though and I'm in a shortage so will pickup two more, but I really want a 10'r and some newer cables with USB 3.2 gen 2 etc instead of more garbage USB 2 cables but 100w is 100w and my Anker cables have treated me so well, so whatever

So question. If I get a 3.1 Gen 1, now 3.2 Gen 1x1, or 3.2 Gen 2x2, cable, in order to take use of its potential for rated speed, I have to have a device on each end that is rated the same as the cable right? Otherwise it bottlenecks and is only as fast as it's lowest rated speed in the connection.

Is that right?

We have this for work. Got crates of it. It charges pd or near pd speed. Not sure if it supports pd. All I know is it charges the larger iPad fast.

To add to your comment. There is a great deal that is even cheaper for a 3pk at different lengths and has a 10% off clip coupon. I've picked up two and they've worked great for the past two months. They are also USB 2.0.
