SD did a test a while ago testing several brand name products and tested them for both ability to keep drinks hot (coffee, tea) and cold (soda, water) and the expensive brand names (Yeti) performed no better than the cheapo Walmart Ozark products. Sorry to bust your myth.

Contigo are horrible mold growing junk lol.... Every one I have owned, at least 8, have all grown mold quickly on every rubber surface and had to be completely torn down every wash to clean it. The Yeti ones have a different material for the seals and so far, ater a year of use, the 6 I own have not had any mold issues. the Yeti ones also have a split seal that is easier to both clean and remove.
All that said, the Yeti keeps things colder than the Contigo due to a better lid design.

"Almost"
The Walmart ones are nice and worth the buy. The seals tend to grow mold under them if you don't clean under them often and the paint tends to chip easier.
Yeti on sale to me is worth the price over the Walmart ones but at full price I think Yeti is just way overpriced.
These are good prices if you can find some in stock.
