Yeah, caveat emptor to anyone using field filling services, their year field for CC info will only work with two digits but allows for four. So 2026 kept registering as 2020 instead of 2026.

I switched from HP Laserjets about 17 years ago when Hewlett Packard bricked my Laserjet 4 with a software update.
The Brother printers have performed spectacular. I've printed tens of thousands of pages with very few issues.
The toners and drums are very reasonably priced and long lasting (I have used knock offs with no issues (ymmv)).
When I did have issues, a quick class at YouTube university has solved them all.
If multiple page scanning or copying is in your repertoire, a document feeder (ADF) is a must.
Prefer an all-in-one. Would take a regular duplex enabled printer too.
