I currently have two Laser Brother printers in my home office.

I switched from HP Laserjets about 17 years ago when Hewlett Packard bricked my Laserjet 4 with a software update.

The Brother printers have performed spectacular. I've printed tens of thousands of pages with very few issues.

The toners and drums are very reasonably priced and long lasting (I have used knock offs with no issues (ymmv)).

When I did have issues, a quick class at YouTube university has solved them all.

If multiple page scanning or copying is in your repertoire, a document feeder (ADF) is a must.
Me too. I loved my work horse Laserjet 4. Come to think of it, it may have been an up[date that eventually broke my printer. (After stock up on the toners as well smh)

I have a Dell laser printer and it starting to have a jam in front tray as soon as it spools the paper. What's the best way to go? Is there a simple fix/repair possible or just need to dump and buy a new one like this one. I searched on YouTube but not much luck.
Is it failing to pick up from the tray, or scrunching up the paper after picking it up?

I got a similar one not listed here (HL-L2340D monochrome/duplex/wireless) in 2016 on sale for $80 - almost certainly from Slickdeals. It's been a champ, even with after market toner drums, still use it once a week/two. Just searched the model, and the cheapest I can find them (almost 6 years later) is $350. I feel like I got away with something.

As a random guess I'd say maybe it's time for a new pickup roller (assuming paper isn't feeding properly) but I'm not sure a slickdeals thread is the best place for printer tech support.
I would try r/printers (reddit), the techsupport sub, or maybe the Dell forums where there are lots of helpful posters. Or a specialized printer support site.
*Be prepared to give some detailed model information though. Dell isn't HP, they basically just rebadge other printer manufacturers' offerings. So troubleshooting is very much dependent on what the specific model is, moreso than with other mfrs like HP/Brother/Lexmark/etc where similar problems may be more common throughout an entire line.

I have been a Brother MFC fan for almost 20 years in my home office, added a Dell color laser, moved last year in to a smaller space, no room for 2 laser printers. Unable to find a decent deal on a refurb, I bit the bullet, bought an HP AIO inkjet, not looking back.
You don't need 2 printers. A color laser MFP with an ADF will do basically everything and isn't that huge.

You may not be looking back, but going from a dedicated BW MFP laser and color laser to an AIO inkjet for everything is a step backwards for most people.
Color inkjets are generally only superior at printing photos. While the HP AIO inkjets are perfectly acceptable business MFPs, they aren't particularly good at photos and obviously every other aspect is a step down from a laser. Cost per page is more, ink/toner capacity is less, build quality is less (you can't even usually get a belt for an HP OfficeJet because the printer is considered disposable), you have to wait for cleaning and clogged jets, etc.

HP OJs are capable and we use them all the time for managers who NEED their own MFP in their office for whatever reason, but I'm not sure anyone can successfully argue that they are even a lateral move from a laser. They are usually 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a similar laser but I'd still rather pay the premium personally.

If you're willing to spend another $19 and change for new instead of refurb, you get both wireless and duplex.

That model is not a $350 printer but it IS over 8 years old. You're seeing those prices because you're looking at random sellers on marketplace sites trying to gouge someone who needs a model that is long retired. You can Google any extinct printer and find a few sellers trying to take advantage of those who "need" a particular retired model for whatever reason.

That printer is one of the many good personal BW laser Brother printers that sold for somewhere around $100 when new. Because of Covid and the crazy prices, it's probably a $150 (max) printer new if it were manufactured and sold today.

It seems that Canon is still building and marketing some of their older model printers. I guess that development costs have been recovered long ago, so they can build and sell them cheaply. Case in point is the MF3010 all-in-one laser at $99, circa 2011. It's hopelessly outdated and doesn't hold a candle to the newer MF232 and MF242, yet they keep on selling them. For anyone who is shopping for a Canon laser, the MF242 has been regularly going on sale for $109 shipped, which represents a way better value than the $99 MF3010.

Looks like the system thought a brand name was a link. Let me try again. The best ink I've found to use with Brother printers is spelled L I N K Y O.

I finally have to replace my laser toner cartridge for my 2370DW - any recommended deals/sites for that?
I was going to suggest Linky-o brand on Amazon but I don't see the specific model for your printer anymore - odd, since it's a common one. It's the same one I bought for my dad's 2395DW.

L-Y--N-K-O does not make toner for color brother printers. Does anyone have a recommedation for the TN227 toners?
