Even though one might have the Xbox ultimate pass and get this for free what if you don't renew that at least you're still left with a game. I'm curious if they still got those cool cheat codes from back in the day I really enjoyed playing those 20-year-old games and what's another five bucks a cup of coffee.

It's a real time strategy city/army building game one of the best series of this type I sunk way more hours into 1 & 2 as a kid then I care to admit.

I think Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is the go-to version. If you like RTS games, it's worth it. But the real fun is against friends in multiplayer, not the single player campaigns.

Aoe2 was great for sure. But I do really like the card/progression system built into this one

Absolute worst edition out of the entire Age of Empire catalog. AOE II Definitive Edition is the best so far.
