Is it a fair price if the GPU isn't considered? The screen seems nice and it looks to be a thin and light laptop.
Yes, it is decent configuration for having an Core i7 H series, 32GB ram, 500 nits 120Hz QHD Display. I won't say this is like a superb deal but it is good.
I had one of these that I bought from Best Buy and I ended up returning it because the very poor GPU performance and poor battery life. I had the one with the 100Wh battery and still struggled to get 5-6 hours of office tasks. It looked good on paper, but the 12700H was a huge power hog and it would easily pull 35-45 watts just opening Chrome.

You don't have one of these but a completely different laptop. One of these will have same 75 WHr battery, not a different capacity one.

I guess they're both mostly similar with the same CPU/GPU and overall design and thermals. The only difference I can think of is the Yoga is 400 nits and 100Whr, while this one is 500 Nits and only 75Whr battery.
So I expect the battery performance on this to be 25% worse
For light gaming purposes, would y'all recommend this, or the Lenovo Slim Pro X also on sale at Costco? My 2015 MacBook is still chugging along but all I can really do is browse/Youtube on it. Probably best to pick up one with the deals going on. Thanks for any information.

Share the link if the laptop you're referring. Yoga 7i 16 doesn't have 100W battery. You're mistaken.
Edit: It is my mistake. I crosschecked and looks like the Yoga 7i 16 with H series 12th Gen CPu version (82QG version) does have 99.99 WHr battery.
if that is the case, the battery life would be similar or slightly less.

Maybe in the future it will better support. However, if you spend 1200+ for a laptop, it should be in the present
